(WRCB) - Good Friday! I feel a little cheated. I heard the thunder and felt the wind pick up. I settled on the porch for a nice afternoon storm. Nothing! That may have been your experience as well. Fear not. We will have another chance for more scattered storms this afternoon and evening.
The upper low over the Southern Plains will continue to spin up warm, moist, unstable air into the area through tomorrow, so I don't expect much to change. Highs through Saturday will reach the muggy upper 80s. Scattered non severe storms will develop during the latter part of each afternoon and last into the evening hours.
Sunday and Monday we will be a LITTLE cooler and a LITTLE drier so it will feel slightly more comfortable. Temps will be in the mid 80s with humidity levels just a touch lower. While I won't rule out an isolated storm or two, they certainly won't be as widespread as they have been.
Tuesday, another front will move through and bring our rain chances back up to 60%.
