HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - In school patrol more than 50 teachers from Apison Elementary are learning how to save lives.

On their first official day of summer break, the teachers have volunteered to participate in an emergency preparedness plan for their school.
The teachers will learn how to administer CPR to children and adults, and how to operate a defibrillator.
The training is part of Parkridge Health System's Program for schools to improve their ability to respond in crisis situations.
