Woman robs man after he takes her to Motel 6

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - A man told Chattanooga police he was robbed by a woman after he purchased a room for them at the Motel 6 March 26.

The man told police the woman only known to him as "Whitney" and a male suspect wearing a ski mask came to the room and robbed him at knife point.

The duo stole his wallet, money, cell phone and car keys. They beat him, duct taped him and left him in the room. They drove away in his 2005 Chevy Impala.

The victim was able to identify the suspect from a photo array. Police arrested Whitney King Tuesday morning and charged her with aggravated robbery. She remains in custody this morning on a $60,000 bond. Her court date is set for June 3.
