Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had a fairly good week among the 40 restaurants inspected.

Restaurant employees are doing a better job lately taking pride in their work.

We do have a failing grade to pass along. Remember we always give the low score and that's a 67. A failing grade is anything lower than a 70.

The fortune inside this cookie should say “Clean this place up” at the New China Buffet and Grill at 3450 Cummings Highway.

Chief Inspector Jack Falcon tells me the chicken was out of temperature, cooks are not washing their hands, roaches in the kitchen and shelving and floors need a good cleaning.

Remember they have 10 days to correct all critical violations

The high score of the week is a 99. They are doing everything right it seems at the Mojo Burrito on Dayton Boulevard. Hats off to the hard working employees who are making a difference on the restaurant scene.

Remember, any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department  Hotline at (423) 209-8110 or feel free to
and I'll pass your comments along.

Enjoy your meal!
