Fire damages several condos in Rossville

CATOOSA COUNTY, GA (WRCB) - A fire ripped through several homes at the Applebrook Condos in Rossville.  The Catoosa County complex houses a number of units on Applebrook Drive.
Four of them were damaged in the blaze.  Fire officials on the scene say 2 of them sustained heavy damage.
Around 30 firefighters from Ft. Oglethorpe and Catoosa County responded..

The assistant chief tells us, this ended as best it could have, with no injuries.

Assistant Chief Gary McGhee, Ft. Oglethorpe Fire and Rescue, " Everybody's going home, that's a good thing. And I think we worked real well and I'm glad there were not any fatalities or injuries or anything like that to our citizens."

The Red Cross was called to assist the residents.

No word at this time on the cause of this fire.
