Voter turnout in Georgia was low for the primary Tuesday.  In the entire state, 18.7 percent of voters cast their ballots.

Dade County had the highest turnout in our area with 23.3 percent. 

Catoosa had the lowest: 9.8-percent.

In Murray County 20.7 percent of voters made it to the polls.

Walker County had 17.7 percent turnout.

And in Whitfield County 16.1 percent of voters cast their ballots.
