UPDATE: Man in custody after N. Moore Road standoff

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - UPDATE: Parts of North Moore Road were blocked off Monday night during a police stand off that ended with one man in custody.

Police were called to the scene on North Moore Road at Tomahawk Trail, around 6:40 Monday evening, on an assault allegation.

The man would not come out for officers.

Police negotiated with the suspect for a little over two hours, before he surrendered to police with out incident.

No word on any  charges he may be facing.
