Allen Elementary's 5th Grade 4-H Clover bowl team participated in the Tennessee Eastern Region Clover Bowl contest on May 14th.

There were 24 participating Eastern Tennessee counties and Allen finished in 2nd place.  This is the first time Hamilton County has made the final stage for the last round of competition.  Teachers Nikki Howell and Ashley Mosley described the event as "an awesome experience to witness."

The Clover Bowl is a "Jeopardy" type competition for 4H members.

Allen's team of 4 students had to participate and win at the school and county level to be invited to the regional competition at UT-Knoxville.
