Knoxville named No. 2 Best College Sports Town

KNOXVILLE, TN (WBIR) - If you love college sports, Knoxville is the town for you, according to Answers.com.

The home of the University of Tennessee landed the No. 2 spot on Answers' ranking of the "10 Best College Sports Towns." Knoxville beat out all SEC schools only falling behind Madison, Wis. when it comes to college life.

Answers listed several reasons why it ranked Knoxville No. 2. The first reason - the fans.

"Tennessee fans are loyal, passionate and support UT football through thick and thin," Answers wrote.
