Good Friday! A scratchy throat or a watery eye will hopefully be the only downer for you this weekend. Otherwise, the weather will be near perfect.
High pressure to our east will combine with an approaching front to our north to give us solid southerly winds that will boost our high today to the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies.
As we move through the weekend, the front will dissipate, and high pressure off the east coast (called the "Bermuda High") will continue to shoot in warm air from the south. Highs over the weekend will climb into the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday. No rain is expected this weekend.
Another front will move in to start next week. It will bring rain Monday. You may be dry for the morning commute, but showers and some heavy rain will develop late morning and stay with us through the rest of the day. The rain will keep highs in the low 70s Monday.
Tuesday will be an interesting one. We will start with scattered showers in the morning, then the front will pass through, and we will have cold, windy weather for the afternoon. Highs Tuesday will stay in the upper 50s, and temps will fall through most of the day. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning lows will drop into the upper 30s.
