DALTON, GA (WRCB) -

Dalton Police Department Investigators arrested 17-year-old Ulises Corona Tuesday on a charge of making false statements to law enforcement officers.

Corona's arrest came after investigators determined that Corona lied to them during the investigation of the March 23rd shooting at Las Delicias on Morris Street that left one man dead and another man wounded.

Investigators determined that Corona was with Orlando Ramirez, Fernando Resendiz, and Juvencio Vega-Garcia in a car as they drove to the Las Delicias bar.

Orlando Ramirez allegedly shot two security guards after being denied entry into the bar, killing 28 year old Bruno Rodriguez.

Alexa Jiminez, Orlando Ramirez's girlfriend, was also arrested and charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal and making false statements to law enforcement officers.

Bruce Frazier, Public Relations Specialist for the Dalton Police Department said in a news release that the investigation into the March 23rd shooting incident is not yet complete and more charges are possible.
