Showers and storms will develop tonight to the west of us. These
storms will move closer early Friday morning.
The Storm Prediction
Center has issued an alert for the area on Friday for a slight risk of
severe storms. The best chance will be for strong gusty winds and hail.
The chance for tornadoes will be slight.
Stay tuned starting Friday
morning. The rain amounts should not be that heavy. I am expecting on
average a third of an inch to one half inch with only isolated spots of
1" depending on where the storms form. Highs on Friday will be in the
70's with a mild low of 61 tonight. Winds will be brisk on Friday with
gusty south winds shifting to the north by evening.
Skies will clear off Friday night and Saturday will be quite
pleasant. Highs should be in the mid 60's with mostly sunny skies.
Clouds will increase Saturday night with a good chance for some rain
developing on Sunday night. Highs will approach 70. Monday should be
wet with mainly rain showers and an occasional thunderstorm. Rain
amounts will be heavier with 1 to 1.5" possible. Highs Monday will be
Tuesday through Thursday should be dry with highs in the 60's through
Wednesday and highs in the low 70's Thursday. Some places may see some
scattered frost Tuesday morning through Thursday morning.
