Morning clouds/sprinkles - warm and clearing late

Posted: Updated:

Good Tuesday.  Snow in the forecast later this week?  Okay, now that the April Fool's joke is out of the way...

We WILL have clouds this morning with a few sprinkles here and there.  Temps are mild starting out, in the upper 40s and low 50s.  A bit cooler in the Blue Ridge.

As we move through the day, the front will push through and skies will clear.  Highs will reach the upper 70s this afternoon.  Tonight will be clear and mild with lows in the low 50s.

For Wednesday we will be sunny and warm as highs climb to about 80 degrees.

Another front will bring clouds and a few showers on Thursday.  Highs Thursday will reach 79.

As the front pushes through Friday, I think we can expect some showers and storms for the first part of the day.  As we move into Friday evening, skies will clear and slightly cooler air will move in for the weekend.

Temps will be in the mid 60s both Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend will be dry, but clouds will build Sunday with low pressure lifting from the south and bringing rain Monday.
