CPD investigating three different shootings
Chattanooga police are investigating three separate shootings that happened within 8 hours of each other.
On Saturday afternoon, just after 5, Chattanooga Police Officers responded to a local hospital on a person that had been shot.
Upon arrival Officers made contact with 23-year-old Tony Jackson.
Witnesses stated that a dark colored vehicle drove past Jackson and began shooting.
Jackson suffered non – life threating gunshot wounds to the left arm and torso.
There is no other suspect information available at this time.
A couple of hours later, just after 11 p.m., CPD officers responded to a local hospital on another call of a person that had been shot.
Upon arrival Officers talked with 22-year-old Devin Caldwell. Caldwell stated he was sitting in a vehicle in front of 37 Scruggs Street when three unknown suspects wearing dark clothing began shooting at the vehicle he was in.
Caldwell was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle and suffered from a gunshot wound to the head.
He is currently listed in stable condition. There is no other information on the suspects.
The third call came in early Sunday morning at 1, officers responded to a local hospital on a shooting victim.
Once on the scene officers spoke with 18-year-old Juan Boyd. Boyd stated he was at an after-hours club at 2510 E. Main Street when a fight started.
Boyd said he got in a vehicle when he heard several gunshots and then realized that he had been shot. Boyd was taken to the hospital by a personal vehicle.
Boyd said he did not see who did the shooting and there is no other suspect information available. He was treated for a non-life threating gunshot wound to the face.

The CPD tell Channel 3 there is no evidence to support that any of these incidents are related to each other.
