LOUISVILLE, Ky. (UTSports.com) -- No. 1 seed Tennessee got a taste of the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday, as the team held practice and met with members of the media.
The Lady Vols and head coach Holly Warlick participated in news conferences, chat-like interviews with ESPN's announce team of Dave O'Brien, Doris Burke and Holly Rowe and a 90-minute practice session.
Warlick, the recipient of her own specially-made Louisville Slugger bat as a gift to the regional's head coaches, even took a few swings with her new lumber during a shooting period before UT's workout concluded. She showcased several batting stances and strides utilized by players she's observed through the years.
The Lady Vols face No. 4 Maryland at noon ET on Sunday on ESPN. The winner of the game will play the winner of No. 2 Louisville/No. 7 LSU on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
