A roadhouse barely passes, and a chicken joint's almost perfect

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had a great week reporting no failing grades among the 26 restaurants inspected.

Remember we do give the low score, and that's a 70. That's really close because a failing grade is anything lower than a 70. This is a relatively new restaurant in this area of the city. It's Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant on Cummings Highway.

According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, the cooks were not washing their hands, employees were not sanitizing utensils properly, the walls and floors were filthy and the kitchen just needs a good cleaning around the food prep areas.

The high score of the week is the very popular Chicken with Bones on Brainerd Road. Are you ready for this? They score a whopping 99! Now that's impressive! Congratulations!

Remember any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department  Hotline at (423) 209-8110 or feel free to email me and I'll pass your comments along.

Enjoy your meal!
