Good Thursday. After another freezing start, we will finally start to warm back up this afternoon to more acceptable levels.
An approaching front will give us south winds that will transport warm moist air in from the south. That will allow for mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 60s this afternoon.
The winds will be fairly swift, blowing from the south at 15-25 mph.
While we may see one or two sprinkles today, the bulk of the rain with this system will move through Friday into Saturday morning.
Overnight tonight we will see showers developing and moving in from the west. That will bring in heavy rain and thunderstorms early Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, the rain will be reduced to on and off showers with highs in the mid 60s.
Another round of rain will move through Saturday morning, but by the afternoon we will finally see it begin to dry out as winds blow from the north at 10-20 mph.
While the high Saturday will manage to reach about 70, cooler air will move in Saturday night with the low dropping into the upper 30s.
Sunday will be amazing with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s.
Next week looks even better with highs in the low 70s Monday through Wednesday.
