Good Wednesday. After a wintry past 24 hours, we will see our weather calming a bit today and tomorrow.
High pressure will build in today behind the front that brought the snow/wind/cold to the area yesterday and this morning.
That will give us sunshine and much calmer winds along with highs in the low 50s.
Thursday we will see our winds shift. They will blow from the south at 10-20 mph during the afternoon allowing temps to climb into the low 60s. We will also see more moisture creeping in. There will be an increase in clouds through the day, and a slight chance for an isolated shower or two Thursday afternoon.
Another front will push into all that moisture Friday, bringing widespread rain showers and a few isolated thunderstorms to the area through the day.
We may see a few of those showers lingering into Saturday.
Sunday will be the pick day of the weekend as highs climb into the upper 60s under sunny skies.
Next week will start dry with highs in the low 70s. Now THAT'S spring!
