During a vehicle stop on March 20 at the Grizzly bear Intersection of Hwy 64 West Brendon Jacobsen, a Murphy North Carolina resident was arrest for controlled substance violations.

Jacobsen was stopped by Deputy Tony Dockery of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office. During the traffic stop items of paraphernalia were observed by Dockery.

Deputy Dockery called Investigators of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office for assistance in collecting and processing the evidence found during the investigation.

Jacobsen was charged with: 1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine, 4 counts of Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia Jacobsen is currently being held in the Cherokee county Detention center on a ten thousand dollar secure bond and is scheduled to appear in Cherokee County District Court later this month.
