Victim of early morning shooting refuses to cooperate with police
A Friday morning shooting left police with more questions than answers.
Chattanooga Police officers responded to a local hospital when it was reported that a gunshot victim arrived about 4:00am.
The officers spoke with the victim, Orlandas Gay, who said he had been walking on North Willow Street earlier then a silver car drove past and began shooting.
The 24-year-old Gay refused to share further information with the investigating officers, and according to a CPD news release, said he did not wish to speak to the police.
Gay suffered a gunshot wound to the left calf, and was treated for a non life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
