Catoosa jury convicts woman in Facebook photo case

Posted: Updated:
CATOOSA COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

A Catoosa County mom has been found guilty of making false statements to police.

David Kay Caylor was in Catoosa County court Wednesday.

The verdict stems from a 2013 incident in which Davida Kaye Caylor told the sheriff's office that a Heritage High School assistant principal slammed her son's hand on a desk.

A picture then surfaced on Facebook of her son's hand showing a deep bruise and swollen knuckles.

Caylor was found guilty on three charges.

Her attorney says he plans to appeal the case.
