Five people were arrested Wednesday for drug and related charges when the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force served three search warrants in Chattooga County and one search warrant in Cobb County.

Four arrest warrants were served and a fifth arrest was made on related charges.

A news release from Sheriff Steve Wilson said that "a controlled delivery" of eight ounces of uncut ‘ice' methamphetamine led to the arrests of the following people:

  • Felix Moreno Garcia, , Summerville, GA
  • Fabian Pineda Garcia, 32, Summerville, GA
  • Pedro Castro, 28, Summerville, GA
  • Jimmy Fowler, no age given, Trion, GA
  • Jesus Garcia Mosqueda, 46, Summerville, GA

Additionally, law enforcement officials gathered additional amounts of uncut "Ice" methamphetamine, firearms and cash.
A cache of firearms, military grade ballistic gear and small arms ammunition were discovered at one of the search warrant locations.  

The items were packaged and prepared to be shipped to a location in Central America.

The total amount of uncut ‘ice' methamphetamine seized in the operation is almost two kilograms; once processed, the methamphetamine has a potential street value in excess of $250,000.
