Man robbed after bragging on Facebook about lottery winnings

KNOXVILLE (News Sentinel) -

A sleeping man who said he had been bragging on Facebook about winning money from scratch-off lottery tickets told police he was robbed early Wednesday.

The man said he was awakened by a loud crash about 4:03 a.m. in his South Knoxville house at 701 Redwine St.

When he opened his bedroom door, he saw a man holding a gun, according to Knoxville Police Department Sgt. Jason Keck.

The suspect pointed a revolver at the man and said, "where the money at?" the man told police.
