Catoosa Co. drug bust yields drugs and weapons
The Catoosa County Sheriff's Office made four arrests and confiscated over 10 pounds of marijuana, weapons and approximately $8,000.00 in US currency.
The search warrants were a result of information obtained from the US Postal Service Inspector.
On March 8, detectives and Sheriff's Deputies served a search warrant at 1740 East Stateline Road, Rossville, Catoosa County, Georgia.
During the search, over eight pounds of marijuana, approximately $1,000 in US currency and one firearm was confiscated. Arrested at the scene were 26-year-old Michael Rushad Johnson and 23-year-old Amber Joy Cook, both residents of the Stateline Road address.
On March 15, detectives and Sheriff's Deputies served a subsequent search warrant at 70 East Pine Street, Rossville, Catoosa County, Georgia.
During the search, over two pounds of marijuana, approximately $7,000 in US currency and numerous weapons were seized. 27-year-old James Edward Stamey and John Lee Lockley, Jr., were both arrested and are both residents of the East Pine Street address.
After their arrests, all four subjects were transported to the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office detention facility.
