Happy St. Patrick's Day! Look for a cool, damp day ahead, but awesome weather for the rest of the week.
March is typically the rainiest month of the year. So the rainfall yesterday was great (1.11"), but we still need more. Even with the weekend rain, we are running a deficit for the year of 3.32".
We can expect to see light drizzles on and off through today, but with the thick clouds and light north winds, temps will struggle to get out of the low 50s.
Tuesday will see the start of truly wonderful weather. Winds will shift and blow from the south, allowing for temps to climb back to about 60 under partly cloudy skies.
The warming trend will continue through Friday when we will see sunny skies and a high of 70!
For the weekend, more heavy rain is possible through the day followed by slightly cooler air as we dry out Sunday.
