If you're heading out tonight to maybe enjoy a green beer or two this Saint Patty's Day weekend, you will probably see extra police presence out and about.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol announced a long list of locations where officers will be conducting sobriety checks

THP and local law enforcement sent out a friendly reminder saying their goal during this holiday weekend is to help keep Tennessee's roadways safe

The statewide DUI enforcement campaign listed over 50 sobriety and drivers license checkpoints  - which includes many locations in the Southeast region.

A few hot spots will be near East Brainerd and Morris Hill Road and all around the downtown area in Chattanooga near local bars and pubs.

Last year during the St. Patty's Day weekend, 13 vehicular deaths were reported statewide. Channel 3 reported one crash in Hamilton County that cost one family their loved one.
