In the first incident, according to Chattanooga Police Department Public Information Officer Tim McFarland, police responded to the 1600 block of Diamond Street about 12:51am Friday where they discovered two males involved in an argument.

One of the men brandished a handgun and started shooting.

The victim suffered a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm and was transported to a local hospital for examination and treatment.

Police identified the suspect as Brandon Adkins, who was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault and reckless endangerment.

In the second shooting, a person arrived at the hospital just before 4:00 am with a gunshot wound.
