AM sprinkles. Windy, temps falling

Posted: Updated:

(WRCB) - Good Wednesday.  Your weather will be changing dramatically over the next 24 hours.

Let's start with this morning.  A warm front lifting through the area will allow some light sprinkles to continue on and off through the morning into the early afternoon.  Temps this morning are in the low 60s.  That is about as warm as it will get.

A WIND ADVISORY is in effect through the day.  Behind the warm front, we will see winds increasing to 15-20 mph into the early afternoon.  A cold front will then slide in, causing our winds to shift and blow from the northwest at 20-30mph.

The wind shift will also allow for falling temperatures throughout the day.  For most of the afternoon we will drop through the 50s.  This evening we drop into the 40s.  Overnight, winds will die down as temps drop into the upper 20s and low 30s.

It will stay cool through Thursday as skies clear out and we see highs around 50 degrees.

Friday, southerly winds and warmer weather returns.  Expect Friday's high to reach the low to mid 60s.

For the weekend, we will be in the low 60s and we could see some scattered showers both Saturday and Sunday.
