Three people are in custody after a meth lab was discovered.

It happened around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon on Walnut Grove Church Road in Dayton.  Samuel Cochran, Nicholas Dylan Murphy and Kristen Marcus were arrested after Rhea County officers found items related to meth manufacturing inside the home.

Acting on a tip, detectives with the Rhea County Sheriff's Office went to the home and found the three suspects on the front porch smoking marijuana.  Detectives were given permission by Cochran to go inside and look around.

Officers discovered several items used for manufacturing meth.

All three are charged with manufacturing meth, delivery and selling a controlled substance and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Marcus faces an additional charge of tampering with evidence after hiding some meth on her person.  She was taken to the Emergency Room to be checked.  She also has a previous warrant out for her arrest.
