(WRCB) - Good Tuesday.  The average high for today is 62 degrees.  The record is 81.  We will be much closer to the record than the average this afternoon.

Highs will climb into the mid 70s today with partly cloudy skies.  We are enjoying the warm weather, but it is a bit deceptive.  With the warm air, low humidity, and light breezes the fire danger is extremely high right now.

We will see a warm front sliding through tonight.  That will cause an increase in clouds tonight, and even some light scattered showers overnight through Wednesday morning.

The low pressure associated with the front will move by to our south late tomorrow morning, and north winds will kick in at that point bringing in much colder air late Wednesday.  The high will only reach the low 60s (normal for this time of year).

Winds will also pick up Wednesday afternoon, blowing at 10-20 mph in the valley and 15-25 mph in the mountains.

The cold air will really settle in Thursday morning.  We will wake up with a low of 27 degrees.  The high Thursday will stay in the upper 40s.

Friday we start cold with a low near 30, the in the afternoon we will rebound back into the low 60s.

A few more rain showers are expected Saturday morning, but Sunday looks dry.  Highs in the low to mid 60s this weekend.
