Police: Suspects had meth delivered to home

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police made a big drug bust at a home in Davidson County overnight.

Detectives had been watching the home for a while and say the suspects had been accepting packages of meth since mid-December.

All 14 packages were sent to the home in the mail. Police say each package had about 1 ounce of meth inside.

An undercover officer delivered a package Thursday night.

Police say Gary Jackson answered the door, accepted the package and ran when he realized the person was a cop.

Jackson and Edward and Peggy Dunbar were all arrested.

The home is near East End Prep School, which is on McGavock Pike. The suspects will face additional penalties for handling meth in a drug-free school zone.
