SEATTLE, Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- WTAS, one of the largest independent tax firms in the world, promoted Michelle Claussen to its team of ten Directors in Seattle today. Michelle joined WTAS in 2008.
"Michelle's extensive experience and relationships will be principal assets as we expand our firm," shared CEO, Mark Vorsatz.
Michelle has over 19 years of state and local tax, in both industry and public accounting. Her primary focus is sales and transaction taxes and Washington gross receipts tax.
The Seattle office of WTAS announced a total of five promotions. Other promotions include a Senior Manager: Chris Stephen; Manager: Robert Wood; and Senior Associates: Stephanie Tuttle, and Aaron Jacobs.
