NASHVILLE, TN (AP) - A Tennessee high school student has been suspended and charged after police say he used Twitter to make a bomb threat.
The Tennessean reported (http://tnne.ws/18Ju4HK ) that 18-year-old Aaron M. Lampert, who attends Hillwood High School, is due in court Jan. 21.
Police say Lampert posted a Tweet on Dec. 17 making the threat. Another student saw the post and notified school administrators.
Lampert is charged with felony filing of a false report. He was processed at the Davidson County Criminal Justice Center between 2 and 6 p.m. Monday and freed on a $2,000 bond.
Arrest records did not list an attorney for Lampert.
