A car stolen this morning in Hixson not only left a family without a vehicle, but also left a child with her prized teddy bear.

Named "Bear Bear," the stuffed animal belongs to Emma, a four-year old girl who's scheduled for dental surgery Monday at TC Thompson Children's Hospital.

Her mother, Laura Hattaway, tells Channel 3 that the bear has been in their family for 23 years, and Emma is very attached to the bear.

The car, a white 2008 Mazda Cx7, has a "WakeFest '12" sticker on the back.

Also in the car may be a red Primrose School book bag with Emma's name on it.

If you spot the vehicle or have information, please contact the Chattanooga Police Department at (423) 698-2525.
