Motorola Becomes First Brand to Create Experience with Live Nation That Celebrates the EDM Culture, Music and Lifestyle
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Live Nation and Motorola, a Google company, today launched a multi-platform marketing and sponsorship program to engage EDM fans across multiple live event, social media and mobile platforms. Building on the hugely successful initial installations at Insomniac's Beyond Wonderland Festival at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and HARD: Day Of The Dead Festival in Los Angeles, the expanded program will be rolled out to all Live Nation Entertainment U.S. EDM festivals.
With the huge growth of EDM in popular music, Motorola sought out Live Nation to develop a program to creatively engage millennials who are flocking to its sold-out festivals to experience world-class productions featuring top DJs. As Live Nation's exclusive U.S. EDM handset category partner, Motorola will entertain and engage fans through a 6-story tall LED tower and the first ever, Moto X Kandi Shop, much like the Motomaker interactive online design studio where customers can design their own phone, the Moto X Kandi Shop allows fans to design their own Kandi bracelets on site. The influential EDM website, The BPM, referred to the Moto X Kandi Shop as "...probably the most genius corporate sponsorship concept of all time."
