Scottsboro, AL (WRCB) – The Tennessee Valley Bass Club held the second tournament of their 2013-2014 season this weekend on Lake Guntersville out of Jackson County City Park.

Most teams reported weather conditions today were miserable and that contributed to the overall weights not being what everyone was expecting based on the last few weeks of pre-fishing.

The team of Paul Johnson and Robert McDougal walked away with first place and $480. The pair brought in a five-fish limit weighing 19.84 pounds to take the win. They also received a $100 bonus for being the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member of the event.

Taking second place and $240 was the team of Steve Rogers and Bob Anthony with five fish that weighed 18.25 pounds. The duo also won big fish of the tournament and $150 with a largemouth bass weighing 5.67 pounds.

Finishing in third and taking home $120 was the Team of Rick Camp and Anthony Blevins with a total weight of 18.14 pounds.

The next regular season tournament will be held on Chickamauga Lake at Holly Circle Boat Ramp on January 18, 2014.
