Cold mornings and cool, pleasant afternoons

Posted: Updated:

(WRCB) - Good Wednesday.  Grab the long johns!  It is COLD out there this morning.

A couple of things to look out for... frost on the windshield, and some patchy areas of ice where water trickled across roadways last night (I ran into a patch on he way in this morning).

For the rest of the week we can expect continued cold mornings (20s) and cool, but nice, afternoons. The high today will reach 52.  We will be a bit cooler tomorrow with a high of 45.

Today and tomorrow will be sunny.  Clouds will move in Friday, however, ahead of another weather system that will bring us more rain for at least the first part of Saturday.  This will also bring more snow to the Midwest, Ohio Valley, and parts of the Northeast Saturday.

Saturday night we will clear out, and should see a return to the sunshine with another shot of cold air moving back in Sunday afternoon.

If General Neyland were around today it's safe to say Lil Jon and "Turn Down for What" wouldn't be on his iPod, but you have to wonder if he'd be bobbing his head to the remix inside the stadium named after him. More
