Founder of "Jack's Chattanoggins" honored

A young philanthropist was honored Tuesday, for all of his outstanding efforts in the community.
For the last 3 years Jack Skowronnek loses his locks to help children in the scenic city in their tough battle with cancer.

His namesake event, "Jack's Chattanoggins",  is an annual head shaving event to raise awareness and funds.

Tuesday, the community took the time to honor Jack , something he says is a humbling experience.

Jack Skowronnek, "it's really crazy that people think I deserve something like this, I just think I'm someone who wants to help, I don't need special recognition for it"

In the last 3 years since it's inception, Jack's Chattanoggins has raised over $95-thousand dollars for Children's Hospital at Erlanger oncology department.
