Salvation Army extends deadline for Angels
There is still time to make sure area children in the Tennessee Valley have gifts to open on Christmas morning.
The Salvation Army says it is extending the deadline for you to adopt an angel off its Angel Tree.
You now have until December 13th, that's this Friday, to pick out an angel and donate their wish-list items.
Organizers hope you can step up to the challenge.
There are 633 angels left.
Kimberly George, Salvation Army, "need is up 97% so the need is just greater this year, it's not that Chattanoogans and.....asking people be extra generous."
You can find an angel at three different malls in our area, Hamilton Place, Northgate and Bradley Square.
