UPDATE: Share Your Christmas™ Food Drive keeps growing

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Thanks to your generous contributions, the 29th Annual Share Your Christmas food drive is off to a great start for 2013.

The food drive, which benefits the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, helps feed our neighbors and others in the region.

DONATE NOW | Chattanooga Area Food Bank

From all of the sites in the Tennessee Valley, food and monetary donations added up to 515,301 meals for those less fortunate.

The Chattanooga Area Food Bank serves 20,000 people every week who need help putting food on the table.

Collection of monetary donations will continue through the end of the year.

Chattanooga

  • 133,033lbs of food collected providing 110,860 meals   
  • $63,726 providing 305,884 meals

Dalton

  • 13,098lbs of food collected providing 10,915 meals
  • $8,639 collected providing 41,467 meals

Cleveland

  • 3,359lbs of food collected providing 2,799 meals
  • $2,199 collected providing 10,555 meals

Marion

  • 2,558lbs which equals 2,131 meals
  • $1,114 which equals 5,347
