Good Monday. We have seen a few showers this morning, and will probably see a few more before the day is through.
A weak trough of low pressure hanging over the Tennessee Valley is bringing overcast skies and a few patchy light showers today.
Light southerly winds will also keep mild temps in the area. Highs today will be in the mid 50s (normal for this time of year).
Highs will climb into the low 60s Tuesday, however, with cloudy skies and a slight chance for a stray shower.
The rain chance will increase along with the temps for the second half of the week.
A slow moving front will approach Wednesday, bringing some widely scattered showers with highs in the upper 60s!
The rain chance will increase to 60% through the day Thursday AND Friday with highs maintaining in the upper 60s.
Finally the front breaks through, giving us a shot of cool air Saturday as we temporarily dry out and enjoy seasonal temps with lows in the mid 30s and highs in the upper 40s Saturday afternoon.
Another front brings more rain Sunday with a reinforcing shot of cool air moving in Monday.
