Posted: Updated:

Nick-a-Jack Lake (WRCB) - The Tennessee Valley Bass Club held their 3rd annual Christmas for Kids Bass Fishing Tournament this Saturday, November 30th  on Nickajack Lake. The TVBC hosts this event in an effort to help the Catoosa County Fire Department raise toys for less fortunate kids in Catoosa County.

First place went to the team of Paul Johnson and Robert McDougal with a 5 bass limit weighing 14.99 lbs. This team also caught the big largemouth bass of the tournament weighing 4.19 lbs. They also won the highest finishing Tow Boat US Member award.

Second place went to the team of Harold Coffman and Gary Davenport with a 5 bass limit weighing 11.45 lbs.

TVBC President Brad Harmon said "We would like to thank everyone for coming out and showing their support for a great cause. The crowd was small but the message was HUGE with lots of toys gathered for the less fortunate kids of our community. We also would like to thank Tow Boat US and Southern Marine for their sponsorship of the highest finishing Tow Boat Us member of this event."
