CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

A local group against last week's domestic partnership vote has set up shop in Brainerd.

Following the historic city council vote, the leader of a petition drive to force a referendum says support for the ordinance is snow-balling.

So much so, that he says the Citizens for Government Accountability & Transparency  opened petition headquarters over the weekend.

The president of that group, Mark West says they've already sent in more than 16-hundred signatures, and more are coming.

The group is set up in a few other locations in the area, you can find those on their website.
