Cloudy and mild today; isolated sprinkle?

Posted: Updated:

Good Thursday.  Leave the jackets inside, it is a mild start to your day with temps in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Light southerly winds are keeping temps this morning about 10 to 20 degrees warmer than yesterday.  This afternoon will be cloudy with a mild high of 60.  With the clouds, there is a SLIGHT chance for a drop or two of rain, but at best ,the rain chance is 20%, and most of us will see only a cloudy sky today.

For Friday, we will be even warmer as highs climb into the mid 60s!  It will be cloudy all day with a slight chance of a stray shower.

Friday evening, you will want to grab an umbrella as you head out.  We will see widespread scattered showers developing at about 7pm, and lasting on and off through Saturday morning.

Rainfall amounts are expected to reach .25" to .50".

The rain should end by about 10am, and through Saturday afternoon we will have strong north winds blowing at 10-20 mph.  That will rapidly bring in cooler air, so look for a high in the mid 50s Saturday early on, then temps dropping through most of the afternoon and evening.

Saturday night, lows will drop into the 20s, and only warm into the low 40s Sunday afternoon under clear skies.
