"Angels of Silence" operate a Mexican city's surveillance cameras

Members of the newest police force in one city in Mexico can not hear or speak, but they have been hired to monitor the city streets.

A group called the "Angels of Silence" operates the city's surveillance cameras.

It's the first city to recruit officers who can't speak or hear.  When the officers notice something suspicious, they communicate it to their interpreters.

The officers are believed to be ideal for the task because to their highly developed visual sense and are not easily distracted.
