Good Wednesday.  Now is the time to get as many leaves as you can out of the yard.  You will NOT want to do it this weekend.

Light southeast winds will bring in slightly warmer air through Friday.  Highs today will reach the upper 50s.  We get into the low 60s Thursday, and mid 60s Friday.

With this gradual warm up, we will also see cloud cover increasing, mainly Thursday night into Friday.

The clouds will build in advance of a front that will also bring a chance of rain showers Friday night into Saturday morning.  It looks like much of the rain will wash out over the plateau, but a few light showers will hold together and move through the Tennessee Valley.

For Friday night football (or whatever you are doing Friday night) you will want an umbrella, but I wouldn't expect much accumulation.

This will be the case Saturday morning as well, with the rain showers moving out by noon.

Total rainfall Friday night and Saturday morning is expected to be in the .25" range.

Saturday afternoon, after the front moves through, the winds will shift in dramatic fashion.  They will begin blowing from the northwest at 10-20 mph, rapidly bringing in much colder air for Saturday night and Sunday.  Lows Sunday will be in the 20s, and highs will be in the low 40s.
