KNOXVILLE — U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the GOP's presidential
nominee in 2008, addressed a number of hot-button issues Monday morning
in Knoxville as he stumped for the re-election of U.S.
Sen. Lamar Alexander.
McCain campaigned on behalf of Alexander, a Maryville Republican, at
the Airport Hilton at the private breakfast that cost $500 per person,
or $1,000 with a photo with the senators.
