Captain D's - please! But big congrats to Lupi's!

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Dining out this weekend?

The inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had not a great week, but an OK one with 33 restaurants inspected.

A great week would mean no failing grade, which is lower than a 70.

Sorry mate, but this score would make any captain upset.

The low score of 67 can be found at the Captain D's on Highway 58.

According to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, this score is unusual for this place. They've done an admirable job in the past.

Inspectors found dirty walls and floors, shrimp being improperly thawed, walk-in coolers dirty, cutting boards need replacing, the wash and rinse water was dirty and employees not properly washing their hands.

Once again they score a 67.

But the high score this week -  and are you ready for this?

A perfect score of 100 at the Lupi's Pizza in Ooltewah.

It's been way too long since we had a score that perfect. Congratulations to the employees!

Remember any complaints about a restaurant, hotel or motel, day care or a place you work out, call the Hamilton County Health Department  Hotline at (423) 209-8110 or feel free to email me and I'll pass your comments along.

Enjoy your meal!

If General Neyland were around today it's safe to say Lil Jon and "Turn Down for What" wouldn't be on his iPod, but you have to wonder if he'd be bobbing his head to the remix inside the stadium named after him. More
