(WRCB) - Good Wednesday. We're experiencing a hard freeze this morning. That basically means temps well below freezing for several hours. This is an obvious threat to people, pets, and plants, so make sure they are all taken care of. We'll see another round of freezing conditions tomorrow.
The front has now moved through, and with temps in the 20s this morning, we are also looking at winds blowing from the northwest at 10-15 mph. That has been giving us wind chill values in the low 20s!
I expect us to stay chilly through the day with highs only climbing into the upper 40s under bright, blue skies.
Tonight, a light northerly flow of air will knock us back into the 20s to start our Thursday morning.
Thursday afternoon, a warm up will allow us to climb into the 50s, and we will even get back into the 60s Friday into the weekend.
Another cold front will approach on Sunday, pushing rain showers into the area Sunday evening into Monday morning, then another shot of cold air will move in Tuesday.
