UPDATE: Sequatchie stabbing victim ID'ed

WHITWELL, TN (WRCB) -

A Sequatchie County resident is in the hospital after a late-night stabbing.

Dispatch tells us it happened later Tuesday on Cartwright Loop in Whitwell.

A woman called police after a fight broke out in her neighbor's yard.

The fight involved three men, one of which was stabbed in the chest and face.

An attempt was made to drive the victim to a nearby hospital, but once they reached Whitwell, the driver summoned a police officer for help.

The victim, Kyle Hickey, was airlifted to Erlanger for examination and treatment.

His condition has not been released.
